What you’ll need:
Power Drill with 3/16” bit
3/8” screws, one for each wall stud
Bubble Level
Pencil
EZ Slatwall Installation Instructions:
1. Locate wood studs in your wall, mark location for drilling with pencil.
Hint: Building code requires studs to be 16” apart.
2. Pre-drill your hole for mounting using a 3/16” bit.
Hint: You can use Self Tapping Screws to save time and this step, additionally, before mounting, use a bubble level in the radius groove (fig. 1) to ensure level installation
3. Mount the Main Rail (OA7389) to your wall using a 3/8” screw.
4. Continue steps 1-3 for each Main Rail and insert your panels.
Hint: Hole are pre-drilled every 4”. If you are mounting on wall studs every 16”, you’ll use every fourth hole for mounting.
Important: Installation must begin at the base, and work your way up.
